why my heroes don't spam barrage that fast, they spam it once in 3 sec but the recharche is only 1 sec is there a way to make my hero spam it?

disable all skills but barrage, or click it yourself.

Heroes will utilize the entire skill set you give em to the best of their abilities which often doesnt mean what you want em to do. If you want em to just focus on 1 skill then do what buddha said disable the rest or you can just put barrage as the only offensive skill on the bar and the rest are support. Ive had more luck using that method than disabling. I also get more milage out of my heroes since i usually add utility/defensive skills on em short of barrage.

Barrage with Splinter Weapon or an elemental conjure added does great AoE dmg - that's "why barrage." Sure Volley is fine but Barrage is so much better for the effect intended.

How about apply poison+barrage+epidemic?Make sure you have a 33% poison bow string.If you are shooting for mass effect there's your combo.What you do with your other 5 slots would be up to you.Now I realize barrage hits alot of enemies ,but you leave it up to her to choose which enemy she epidemics which can spread your poison even further.

Or bring Sharpen Daggers for AoE Bleeding and Way of the Master if you are a critical barrager. Volley, being non-elite, can also work with Ebon Dust Aura for AoE blind.

From my experience the last time i ran barrage on a hero, they usually spam them when mobs group together. They almost never use it on single targets.
Things might change now, but thats what i experienced few months ago.

You can use Poison Tip Signet with Barrage or Volley though since Poison Tip Signet is not a preparation, but only the first arrow that hits would induce poison.

may be not on heroes, becoz they dunno how to splitter it/spam it as well as human. I use ranger hero mainly as interrupt or condition spreading. Ele hero would do much higher damage I think.

He tend to give you the splinter, but combine it with a friend running SABWAY, then everyone have splinter..

And that is why they nerfed the Splinter+Barrage combination.

Each hit for Barrage now counts as a seperate attack. Sabway Splinter can only trigger for 4 hits even though Barrage can potentially hit more adjacent foes than that.

It is still good but not as godly as before. Personally, I prefer Warmonger's weapon with Barrage but maybe that is just me.

If you're going to bring splinter/ancestors put it on the necro/rit or something. They have no awareness about who to put the splinter on.

In my experience heroes tend to get stuck in normal attack. When you barrage, whatever the bow, there's a time when you can start a normal attack while barrage is recharging. Players cancel the attack by hitting barrage again, heroes don't.

Solution: add volley. They will go right from barrage into volley and back again, alternating endlessly. This would be wasteful on a human bar, but then these guys aren't human and are just wasting that second attack anyway.

In EotN aidan actually uses this trick.
